Dress to Impress for Derby Day

The Derby Festival begins in style this year on Friday 1st June as Ladies Day commences with elegant fashionable racegoers gathering for a classic day’s racing on Epsom Downs. A key focus of the day is the stunning fashion, celebrated with the annual style award competition.

Derby Day is Saturday 2nd June and one of the greatest race days and social occasions of the Summer calendar.

Dressing to impress for Ladies Day or Derby Day is most important depending on which enclosure of stand you are watching or socialising from.

The Queen’s stand dress code requires either to be “suited and booted” or wearing a cotton/linen or tweed jacket together with shirts and ties to complete the race-going look.
