July – Independents Month

Independent retailer month is a campaign that runs annually throughout July to highlight the important role smaller, local, independent retailers play in the communities they serve, the local economy they contribute to, and in the retail sector as a whole.

Independent retailers and consumer facing businesses are so important, they are the life blood of our local retail centres and we think particularly Northampton.

The St Giles Quarter has so many businesses that need your support day in, day out, week in week out, all the businesses help create a diverse interesting place to shop that gives our town the edge over other shopping destinations. Please don’t forget we have FREE parking in the Borough Council’s multistorey car parks – 2 hours weekdays, all day Saturday and Sunday.

A new addition to St Giles Street are Mooch a gift emporium which are well worth a visit together with all the long established specialists in our street -Abraxas, Colemans, St Giles Cheese, Blenders, Haddons, Dychurch Lifestyle, Bonds the Jewellers, The Manna House and of course ourselves together with all the eating, drinking and beauty establishments.
