Monty’s 5 Break Ins!

Just an apology for any disruption that you may have experienced at Montys over the Christmas and sale period. This was due to the 5 break-ins we have suffered from the very early hours of Boxing Day (26/12/15) together with the 27/12/15 and 28/12/15 all strangely at 2:00AM. A weeks peace then 2 more on 6th January and 7th January! A significant amount of stock was stolen.

A belated thank you to all the staff for clearing up the glass, broken fixtures and counters to re-arranging stock and cleaning and re-steaming numerous jackets and trousers.

Credit must go to Northants Police who responded swiftly to arrest the same chap twice on separate occasions who we and they believe committed all 5 break ins! He has since been to court and pleaded guilty to some of the offences and is due back in court soon for reports and sentencing. We are not quite sure why he has such a keen interest in Montys particularly visiting out of hours so much!
