Peregrine Knitwear

Peregrine has been producing high quality clothing and knitwear for over 240 years through eight generations and their very proud boast , that everything they sell is made in England.

Classic yet contemporary, Peregrine’s British knitwear is made from merino and British wool and features several iconic pieces within their ranges:

English Aran jumpers – The Aran is inspired by the traditional Fisherman jumper, often distinguished by their bulky knit prominent cables and complex knitting patterns these long established “uniform ” pieces are perfect for keeping warm this Winter. We have them in stock in Ecru and Navy and a new contemporary colour this season , Ochre. We have them in stock in Medium to XXL

Nordic Jumpers – This Nordic inspired knit features a traditional Norwegian pattern of bird footprints in the snow. It is an annual trend that adds style and culture to an outfit. It’s 100% Wool knit will keep you warm all through the Winter and is available in two colours , Ecru and Navy and is available in Medium to XXL.

Other Styles – I know you expect Montys to have something a little different and we think we have it . A funky patch jumper with a contrast crew neck with Harris Tweed shoulder patches.Different colour sleeves and shoulders complete the look and again is made from 100% pure wool with sizes Medium to XXL in stock

We also have a very trendy knitted sleeveless cardigan in two colours that would compliment any tweed look or dress up or down some cords or chinos.

Hawick Knitwear

Hawick knitwear has been perfecting the art of designing and producing high quality knitwear in Hawick in Scotland since 1874. This year we have sourced classic “on trend” fairisle designs made from 100 % Lambswool which is also machine washable and of course easy care and available in Medium to XXL.

To compliment the fairisles , we have three iconic Argyles in pure Lambswool again machine washable and in store now in sizes Medium to XXL.

Wilson and Sloane Knitwear

We are very happy to welcome back a firm favourite with our customers each year. Renowned for their colour choices and different patterns, their Italian inspired designs are beautifully made from a Merino wool and acrylic blend which gives the knitwear shape and enables them to be machine washed. We stock them in sizes Medium to 3XL and the extensive selection of patterns are available in Crew and V necks.

Peter Gribby Knitwear

Peter Gribby were established in 1985 and are a second generation knitwear manufacturer based in Nottinghamhire.

Montys are proud to have a large selection of their 100 % soft handle Lambswool cable knitwear together with a variety of V and Crew neck patterned jumpers which are all machine washable and again available in store in sizes Medium to XXL.

Plain Franco Ponti Knitwear

The very best of Italian knitwear made from a smooth , comfortable Merino wool and acrylic blend which ensures that they are machine washable, do not “pill” and keep their shape. They are made in 30 different plain colours and we keep a variety of styles in stock including V neck , crew neck, slip-overs, cardigans, turtle necks, roll collars and long sleeve polo style knitwear. Most are available in sizes medium to 4XL.
