New Denton Straw Hats
Did you know that hat making was first recorded as early as 1702 in Denton, Manchester?
By 1825 there was a total of 25 hat manufacturers in and around Denton and by 1840, 24,000 hats were produced each week. Hats were exported all around the world from the many factories in Denton and in fact it became one of the main hat centres of the world!
Today Denton hats are bringing back “hatting” to the area and have launched their new Spring/Summer ranges in preparation for the long hot summer!
We have had several new distinctive and stylish Panama styles in alongside straw trilbys and caps galore in cotton and linen.
