Roadworks Chaos In Town Centre

Our very own Patrick was on television giving an interview discussing how difficult recent access into town has been during the lengthy roadworks etc at the junction of Bedford Road/Victoria Prom/Cheyne Walk/Derngate. He has subsequently given another interview to the Northants Herald and Post newspaper. Many customers have been discouraged with the frustration of the traffic and it has affected numerous businesses to one degree or another.

We have however a brief respite before September 15th when yet more work is expected to start on Guildhall Road until the 20th November. The road will be closed to allow the regeneration of the area and an extension to the museum.

All of us at Montys hope we can rely on the support of our local customers to come into town centre and visit us and other retailers in the St Giles Quarter.
