Tootal Scarves are back in stock
Authentic Tootal scarves are back in stock.
A favourite of the Mods in the 60’s and 70’s, the scarves have become a staple of the Mod and Indie scene and a must have accessory.
Best known for their polka dot and paisley designs, this new heritage range is made from double faced pure silk, is 26 centimetres wide and 155 centimetres long, to enable the wearer to wear the vintage scarf long, knotted or wrapped around, and is so fashionable and on trend.
The historic town of Macclesfield in Cheshire has been renowned for over 300 years for producing the best quality silk cloth.
When Tootal decided to celebrate their British Heritage, the obvious choice was Adamley Textiles located in the village of Langley near Macclesfield. This traditional mill has been producing printed fabric for the last 50 years and uses water from it’s own reservoir. All coloured dyes are custom mixed on site and Adamley uses a combination of both traditional and modern technologies to produce the designs.
New for this season and of particular interest are Tootal’s plain white and black dress scarves that finish any tuxedo off beautifully. In addition following a motor racing theme, they have produced a black and white chequered flag design.
We have all the designs in stock now at £49.95, pop in and have a look.
